Info for participants

What is the NDIS and am I eligible?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for Australians who are eligible for funding.

The NDIS can provide all people with disability with information and connections to services in their communities such as doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government. Through the NDIS, the funding goes directly to the participant who has the freedom to work with a provider of their choice to get the services they need.

To see if you are eligible for NDIS funding the first step is to visit the NDIS Am I eligible page and fill in the checklist.
